Michael Thistlewood has published the results of the 2015/16 Season. Frank McMahon and Russell Sherwood share the honours in the email tourney with 5.5 points each. R.D. Picken and David Richardson also share the honours in the postal tourney with 6 points apiece. Well played to one and all. Your support of the ‘End Game Tournament’ is most appreciated by Michael.

Anthony Tolliday has won the section with a perfect score of 4/4 against John Sheriff and Antony Dawkins – well played.
The email tournament is winding down and no new sections will be started. Players should consider the Webserver Trio’s Tournament as an alternative.

Ron Cooper reports that E.T. Trio No. 5 has been won by John Etherington with a score of 3.5/4 – John has been awarded 2 BCCA Candidate Master Points – well played. The other players were J.P. Wilkingson who can second with a score of 2.5/4 & P. O’Brian.
Fred Clough has updated the results for the Gambit and Counter Gambit Tournament.
It is still all to play for in the Gambit Tourney (Post)

Crammer and Wright are fighting it out on 5.5 each in the Counter Gambit (Post) but Crammer has two games pending as opposed to one for Wright. Neil could also enter the fray though he has just lost a game to Wright.

Fred himself cannot be caught in the Counter Gambit (Email) with a score of 6.5/8 – well played. Second place is still open and looks like it will be a close finish.
