Webserver Trio Playing Rules

Class 1, multiple entries allowed, Winner promoted to Class 2 with 2 BCM Points. Joint Winners (2-way ties,) 1BCM Point each, 3-way ties no promotion or BCM Points.

Class 2, Single entry only, Winner promoted to Class 3 with 4 BCM Points. Joint winners (2-way tie) both 2 BCM Points each. 3-way ties all play again in Class 2, no BCM Points. 2-way tie 2nd & 3rd no relegation, 3rd placed player relegated to Class 1

Class 3, Single entry only, Outright Winner enters a Championship Semi-Final with 3 BM Points. Joint winners (2-way tie) both remain in Class 3 with 1 BM Points each. 3-way ties all play again in Class 3, no BM Points. 2-way tie 2nd & 3rd no relegation, 3rd placed player relegated to Class 2

Semi-Final, Outright winner enters final with 3 BM Points, 2nd 2 BM Points, 3rd 1 BM point, (2 & 3 – way ties) 2 BM Points each, no relegation all remain in Class 3

Final, 1st £80 + 6 BM Points and awarded Title, 2nd £40 + 4 BM Points, 3rd £20 + 2 BM Points. In the event of a draw the 3rd placed player will be eliminated and the remaining two play off for the Title. A 3-way Tie will mean the Final is replayed. If 2nd & 3rd Tie, then the rewards are added together and split equally. There will be no relegation or Entry Fee for the Final.

Joint Winners, if a player is joint winner in 2 Trios in the same Class he will be promoted to the Class above. This also applies to Trio semi-finals. Players start at 0 following relegation if they have one draw and then get relegated that draw is cancelled out.

Multiple Entries are only allowed in Class 1.

Entry rules – All players start in Class 1 unless their ICCF Rating is > 2000 in which case they will start in Class 2 or Class 3 if rated >2200
